Who We Serve
An important part of our programming involves input from the community. We partner with leaders in each community to ensure that programming is appropriate and relevant to the youth. It's also important to gain input from the children, past and present, to understand their opinion of the program and how they respond to it.

This is Daisy Paloma Juárez Ramírez, a student who participated in the Rural Ed programming. She is a scholarship recipient and is currently attending high school in San Miguel. We have now have provided 7 scholarships to deserving youth to go on to high school. This impact has increased high school attendance in La Palma by 20% and in Jalpa by 17%.
Margarita Juarez has been an important part of our programming in La Palma. Her leadership and influence in the community is respected and we have greatly appreciated and benefited from her help over the years. As a resident of La Palma, she has seen first hand the impact that our programming has had on the youth there .
